Welcome to the home of author Sue Holmes.

Sue writes from a platform of many years of junior teaching experience. Her picture books on topics that young children relate to, are characterised by bold colour choices and rhyming text. Using descriptive language and child centred illustrations she weaves fiction and non-fiction into an enjoyable read for both adult and child.

“The children and I would often create classroom books as we retold experiences or made up stories. These books would be illustrated, using the children’s artwork or my photos, and inevitably become library corner favourites.

Now my love of nature and a passion for creating stories for little people are the driving forces behind my writing.”
